A Beautiful Woman is a good thing (not always, but usually it is a good thing, a blessing), but you can only do what you can do with how you were born. You also need to know that even though physical is a good thing, beauty will never be more important than your character and personality. Generally speaking, many women in 2026 have the morals of an alley cat (and, of course, many men in 2026 have the same moral compass, which is little to no moral compass.
Here are some relevant verses from the New American Standard Bible (NASB) that speak positively about a wife/woman (including her beauty or desirability) being a good thing:Biblegateway
A Wife Is a Good Thing
Proverbs 18:22
He who finds a wife finds a good thing
And obtains favor from the Lord.
This is the closest direct statement to what you asked.
Other Positive Descriptions of a Good/Excellent Wife
Proverbs 12:4
An excellent wife is the crown of her husband,
But she who shames him is like rottenness in his bones.
Proverbs 19:14
House and wealth are an inheritance from fathers,
But a prudent wife is from the Lord.
Proverbs 31:10
An excellent wife, who can find her?
For her worth is far above jewels.
Proverbs 5:18–19
Let your fountain be blessed,
And rejoice in the wife of your youth.
As a loving hind and a graceful doe,
Let her breasts satisfy you at all times;
Be exhilarated always with her love.
Praise of a Woman’s Beauty (Song of Solomon)
The Song of Solomon celebrates the physical beauty of the beloved woman in strong, positive terms:
Song of Solomon 4:7
“You are altogether beautiful, my darling,
And there is no blemish on you.
Song of Solomon 4:1 (opening of the description)
“How beautiful you are, my darling,
How beautiful you are!
Your eyes are like doves behind your veil;
Your hair is like a flock of goats
That have descended from Mount Gilead.
(The chapter continues with detailed praise of her features.)
Note on Balance
While the Bible affirms that a good wife is a blessing and that beauty can be good and delightful (especially within marriage), it also teaches that outward beauty alone is not the highest good:
Proverbs 31:30
Charm is deceitful and beauty is vain,
But a woman who fears the Lord, she shall be praised.
Here are key NASB verses that specifically highlight the beauty of a woman’s face or facial features:
Direct Mentions of a Beautiful Face
Esther 2:7
He was the guardian to Hadassah, that is Esther, his uncle’s daughter, for she had no father or mother. Now the young woman was beautiful of form and face, and when her father and her mother died, Mordecai took her as his own daughter.
Genesis 29:17
And Leah’s eyes were weak, but Rachel was beautiful of form and face.
(Other women are also described as beautiful in appearance, including Sarai/Sarah in Genesis 12:11, 14 and Rebekah in Genesis 24:16.)
Detailed Praise of Facial Features (Song of Solomon)
The Song of Solomon contains the most extensive and poetic descriptions of a woman’s beauty, including her face:
Song of Solomon 4:1–3
“How beautiful you are, my darling,
How beautiful you are!
Your eyes are like doves behind your veil;
Your hair is like a flock of goats
That have descended from Mount Gilead.
Your teeth are like a flock of newly shorn sheep
Which have come up from their watering place,
All of which bear twins,
And not one among them has lost her young.
Your lips are like a scarlet thread,
And your mouth is beautiful.
Your temples are like a slice of a pomegranate
Behind your veil.
Song of Solomon 4:7
“You are altogether beautiful, my darling,
And there is no blemish on you.
Song of Solomon 1:15
“How beautiful you are, my darling,
How beautiful you are!
Your eyes are like doves.”
Similar descriptions of her eyes, hair, teeth, and temples appear again in Song of Solomon 6:4–7.
These passages treat facial beauty as something delightful and worthy of praise (especially within the context of love and marriage in Song of Solomon).
Also: I want to add that anything worthy of praise (in context) is also very relevant for the foundation, the source of what you should be using for meditation.
Also: Solomon spoke of the beauty of her boobs (breasts) ...he isn't talking about a woman walking down the street , he's talking about his future wife.
Also: In 2026 I do not teach that you need to be yoked to the government and have them approve of your marriage. In Biblical terms, FOTW (Followers of The Way) never concerned themselves with "getting approved by the pagan Roman Government" when it came to marriage. You need to have your marriage approved by God and Your FOTW community.
